Do you think over the knee boots are trashy?

Hey I'm Carmen and I'm 17 :) I love to wear over the knee boots in the winter and fall. I have flat and high heel over the knee boots that come up to my low t mid thigh. I wear them with skinny jeans, jeggings, leggings, and mini skirts. My boyfriend hates it and always says I look trashy with my boots like a hooker and he yells at me when I wear them. What should I do? Only wear the flat ones without heel? HELP
