Girl likes boy...does boy also feel the same?

Ive known this guy for almost 6yrs we have had a plutonic friendship all along, he has seen me through heartache, my pregnancy and baby daddy drama and i also have been there for him when he broke up with his girl. I have always had a thing for him but have always brushed it off as just a stupid crush and me and him was somehow inconceivable. But recently we have been hanging out more he has invited me to his house and cooked for me...the mood was very awkward like we were strangers??? and he has always seem to go the extra mile for me i have always thought its because he is a good friend. Now im bothered...could it be that his feelings are more than friendship or am i reading way too much into this? please help
