How hard is it to swap an automatic transmission for a manual?

I have an '89 Prelude 2.0 SI automatic. I want to swap in a manual . I will admit, I am not a mechanic, just crazy enough to try this with little experience. I follow directions well and get pissed off very easily at little stuff - so I have that going for me. Am I going to be able to pull this off? Am I gonna shoot my eye out?
