Does he like me or is he just being nice?

I like this guy at my school. He is really nice and sweet. I told my friend that I liked him and she went and said "I know someone who likes you" and he said "oh" and the next day he went up to her and said " I know who likes me" and he said my name. My friend didn't say anything to him. My other friend who is in homeroom with him talked to him. She said "So i guess you know that "my name" likes you" he said "Yeah, I know" And she said "Well she is a really nice and sweet." Then he said "I know" and She said "You should talk to her." He said "Thank you "my friends name." My friend then told me the whole conversation that they had in homeroom and she also said that he was smiling and he was blushing. Does this means he likes me or is he just being nice? Me and his guy have talked during lunch and break-time. If you could tell me if he likes me or not that would be great! How do I talk to him? Is it bad that he knows that I like him? Please Help! Thanks! :)
