How can I edit a page for fun?

On my old computer I had a tool that let me edit a a page. I could do whatever I wanted to. Like, I could edit it and it would be printable, but when I refresthed it it would all be back to normal...so dose anyone have a link or something to a tool that acts just like the one I discribed? Thanks in advanced
