Is cancer or any type of cancer hereditary ?

yes and no. cancer is not hereditary, but the propensity to get cancer is. hereditary disorders can make you more likely to get cancer, but cancer is caused by mutations and the mutations are not hereditary. so you can be born more likely to get cancer, but you are never born with a definate going to get cancer no matter what. does that make sense to you?
