Is "The Da Vinci Code" movie enough or is better to read the book first?

The book will always be better than the movie, hands down (provided the book was written BEFORE the movie). Movies are forced to cut out a lot of information to fit a time slot and often change the author's original vision to suit its actors and film audience. Books will contain more detailed information.
