Jesus Christ is revolutionary, but Christ is not just a messager but through Him the World might be saved and have essed to God and all of mankind could be saved from the curse of sin and death. Karl Marx and these others did plenty in their field for mankind, I believe Karl was in entertainment, Che Guevara was a great leader, Gandhi inspired many, but Christ was a sacrifice that man can be forgiven and be accepted by God. To answer your question, Christ was not just looking for a nation of His own people but a world.
