What's the situation of feminism in Spain?

In Spain a woman is the property of a man at all times. She is legally owned by her father until such a time as she is married, when she becomes the property of her husband. If women disobey their owners they can face a variety of punishment including stoning and beating. It teaches them not to talk back and to stay in the kitchen. Permissive men will sometimes allow their women to wear shoes and leave the house.
